It’s no secret that LaFlamme has a flair for collaborations that take the world by storm, from coveted friends and family releases with the Jordan brand to working with global giants like McDonald’s, Sony, and the like. Travis’ fans are quick to notice pairs the artists tease on his Photos; one such pair that garnered a lot of attention was the Cactus Jack x Fragment Design Air Jordan 1.
The kicks were first spotted on LaFlamme himself in a picture taken by Clint Brewer circulated on social media in early February. Earlier today, in-hand pictures of the rare collaboration were teased, leaving sneakerhead all around in a tizzy. The pair incorporates Black, White and Royal panels with a Cactus Jack insignia on one heel and Fragment’s signature double lightning bolts on the other.
Elsewhere on the pair, the tongue also sports tags for both Fragment Design and Cactus Jack Off-Centered from the Nike Air tag that brands both shoes. The ‘soon to be grails’ is made up of white tumbled leather, which dominates the upper, making up the eyestays and quarters. Black subtly flows into the pair in Travis’s signature backward swoosh and on the Air Jordan logo on the collar flap. The rest of the upper is made up of Royal tumbled Leather which makes up the toebox, heel, and collar tabs.
Although an official release date is yet to be announced, fans and sneakerheads worldwide anticipate a general public drop. Only time will tell if these grails release or they get shelved as an F&F pair, much like many of LaFlamme’s other Collabs.
